Jet Airways and ICICI Lombard General Insurance launch travel insurance product

Jet Airways and ICICI Lombard General Insurance have collaborated to launch an overseas and domestic travel insurance product called ‘JetProtect’ which offers security against possible risks during travel.
The overseas and domestic travel insurance policy covers a host of situations such as medical expenses caused by accidents, possible loss from trip cancellation and loss or delay of checked in baggage.
The insurance policy can be purchased on the airline website simultaneously while booking flight tickets. In case a Jet Airways ticket has already been purchased through any other channel, customers have the option of purchasing insurance by visiting the ‘Purchase Policy’ section under ‘Plan Your Travel’ on jetairways.com.
‘Jet Protect’ covers claims arising out of acts of terrorism. It also includes a special cover to protect the customers’ home against the risk of burglary or fire while the airline customer is travelling in India.
